¨Something that changed my life forever was when my parents moved here to Arizona while I was still in Indiana finishing the 7th grade. I lived with both of my sisters and got very depressed, because I felt that my parents abandoned me even though it was my decision to not go with them. I didn’t want to leave all my friends and family. My parents were worried about me and they eventually moved me out to Arizona for 8th grade leaving everyone behind.¨

“One time when I was 5 my parents forgot about me at the store. I wondered off and everyone got in the car, started driving off and then realized they were missing something.”

“When I turned 15 and had my Quincenera , it was the happiest day of my life.  It’s a Mexican tradition and I felt so grown at that point and everyone around me watching me grow and support me; it meant everything. It made me want to figure out a plan in where I want to go in life. I want to focus and talk to more people to figure what I want.”
